| Biography: |
This spring junior Aaron Lavarias is working at defensive end on the Vandal D-Line. Prior to this season, Lavarias has worked primarily at defensive tackle. His motor, agility and strength - as well as two years experience as a starter - are expected to be major assets in 2009 as he moves to strongside defensive end.
As a redshirt sophomore last year Lavarias finished with 21 tackles, including three tackles for loss and two QB hurries.
Aaron joined the Vandals in 2006 and redshirted his first season in Moscow. As a redshirt freshman last year (2007) Aaron earned immediate and significant playing time at defensive tackle and defensive end for Idaho. He had a fantastic first year for the Vandals, including starting FIVE games at defensive tackle and finishing the season with 24 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 quarterback hurries, and a forced fumble.
