Professional
After being out of football for three years, Micah Knorr made his NFL debut in 2000 and proved to be one of the top rookie punters in Cowboys history. Knorr's strong leg led him to a franchise rookie record of 42.8 gross yards-per-punt that year.
College
As a senior at Utah State in 1996, Knorr earned second-team All-Big West honors after connecting on 12-of-21 field goals and 36-of-47 extra points to lead the Aggies in scoring with 72 points. He finished his collegiate career with a school record 39 field goals made. As a junior, he earned first-team All-Big West honors after tying for the league lead in field goals, connecting on 12-of-19 with four of the misses coming from beyond 50 yards. He also finished second on the team in scoring with 61 points. Knorr registered 17 touchbacks while handling kickoff duties for USU. |
