Well, Thursday got off to a rocky start down here in San Diego. While listening to Jim Rome pontificate on Barry Bonds and the WBC, I got a call from a friend on layover on his way down to San Diego. "Are you at Cox Arena?" he asked? "No," I said, still wiping the sleep from my eyes. "So you don't know what's going on?" he queried? "Nope," I said. What was it? Full Story

Ryan Appleby still wasn't hearing it. Sure, Aaron Brooks apologized, via handwritten
letters after the Washington-Oregon game in the Pac-10 tournament, but what Brooks
did to the Washington sophomore wasn't something that's found in any official basketball
manual. In fact, it was more akin to the WWE than the Pac-10. Full Story

First of all, let’s be honest, I’m a football junkie. Football is and always will be my sport. I dread January because it means football is almost over for another year with the exception of the Super Bowl. I never count and rarely watch the Pro Bowl.
