LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Mark Brown hit four 3-pointers and Cardell Butler made two free throws with 4.5 seconds left to clinch a 61-60 win over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday.
Butler, who scored 15 points, gave the Aggies (15-4, 6-2 Big West) a four-point lead with the final two free throws, so Ralphy Holmes' 3-pointer at the buzzer wasn't enough to send it into overtime for the Titans (5-12, 3-4).
Eight of Utah State's 20 field goals were 3-pointers. Brown was 4-for-7 from 3-point range and finished with 14 points. Desmond Penigar scored 11 for the Aggies, who have won three straight.
Holmes scored 18 and Anthony Botlon added 17 for Fullerton, which had 16 turnovers to Utah State's nine.
The Titans were 26-for-42 from the field, but only 4-of-9 from the free-throw line.
